TACO BELL'S CRUNCHWRAP SUPREME
Review by Tommy X

I am no vegetarian but when I go to Taco Bell I try to get the no meat items. Aside from the occasional chicken treat I usually don't even want to smell the supposed grade z ground beef or steak. Then I saw the ad for the new Crunchwrap Supreme. It was like looking a glorious flying saucer in the dark 1 a.m. sky. I knew I was gonna have to cheat that rule a little.

Every time Taco Bell creates a new item is a reason for excitement, and the Crunchwrap Supreme is no exception. The engineers at Taco Bell Corp., a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., (NYSE: YUM) really must be encouraged to smoke a bowl or drop acid before coming to work because aside from being a total taste treat, they are really burnt ideas on display here. The Crunchwrap consists of a huge grilled tortilla with ground beef in the middle. Atop that they place drippy nacho cheese, a hard tostada shell, sour cream, tomato chunx and lettuce. Then, don't ask me how, but they fold the grilled tortilla up and around the whole thing and lock up the top! I detected a hint of special sauce thought hey do not advertise that in the ingredients. If you are a fan of Taco Bells past triumphs you will no doubt like this one, as I did. Though this will most likely not become a standard addition to the menu like the Zesty Chicken Bowl, Soft Taco Supreme, Grilled Stuft Burrito or the outrageous Chicken Enchirito, it is likely to gain some fans for the short time it is around. That is of course, if you can stand seasoned ground rats and cow hoofs and eyeballs. I can, but only on rare occasions
